How it Happened
How We Met
Triple A International Rouen, owned by Ayeni, is more than just a store - it's a haven for those seeking the rich flavors of African cuisine, particularly Nigerian delicacies. From Gari Ijebu to Elubo, Kpomo Ijebu to Eja kíká, and to a variety of other staples, this store has become a go-to destination for food enthusiasts. But for me, Triple A International holds a special significance. It's where I met my wife, Bolutife. On that blessed day, Bolutife walked in, searching for obviously Gari Ijebu, and fate had it that I was there to attend to her. What struck me first was her respectfulness, which sparked our conversation. We talked about her studies in International Commerce, and as an Industrial Microbiologist, I saw a partner both in business and family affairs. I was impressed by her passion and her soft spokenness. Our discussion flowed effortlessly, and before I knew it, we were tangled in a web of love. Fast forward to December 24th of the year 2023, I decided to make her mine, and on that Christmas Eve, I put a ring on her finger. It was a moment I'll cherish forever. Meeting Bolutife in that store was more than just a coincidence; it was the start of an incredible journey together.
He Proposed, I Said Yes
He asked, and I said yes. It still feels surreal. Ade, my love, lives in a world of his own—intelligent, caring, and delightfully old-fashioned. Instead of proposing in a flashy place like the Eiffel Tower or a trendy restaurant, he chose a traditional route. What moved me most was that he had already met my parents—it showed how serious he was. So when he asked, I didn’t hesitate. Of course, I said yes.
